Job summary

Vrinda Global seeks an experienced Project Engineer – Electrical for Dammam/Khobar to support major EHV OHTL and Substation projects in Saudi Arabia. The role coordinates engineering and construction activities from design through commissioning on EPC contracts for SEC.

The ideal candidate has 8–15+ years in electrical power transmission, strong knowledge of 380 kV systems, and proven delivery in SEC/GCC environments in Saudi Arabia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 8–15+ years of experience in electrical power transmission projects.
• Experience with 380 kV OHTL and/or substations; SEC/GCC standards and approval processes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate electrical engineering and site execution activities for OHTL and substation projects.
• Coordinate project activities from engineering and procurement through construction, testing, and commissioning.
• Review and coordinate engineering designs, technical specifications, SLDs, construction drawings, and material submittals.
• Ensure project execution complies with SEC/GCC standards, specifications, and approved drawings.
• Coordinate with SEC, consultants, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders.
• Coordinate between engineering, procurement, construction, testing & commissioning teams.

We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer – Electrical to support the execution of major EHV Overhead Transmission Line (OHTL) and Substation projects in Saudi Arabia. The Project Engineer is responsible for planning, coordinating, executing, and monitoring all engineering and construction activities related to 380 kV Overhead Transmission Line projects and substation executed under EPC contracts for Saudi Electricity Company (SEC).

• Coordinate project activities from engineering and procurement through construction, testing, and commissioning.

• Experience with SEC projects, standards, and approval processes will be highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of transmission lines, substations, electrical systems, and project execution.
