Job summary

Project Engineer role in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, overseeing DCS projects from concept through handover. Requires 8–10 years in industrial control systems and strong DeltaV experience.

The ideal candidate will manage interfaces with clients and vendors, lead multi-disciplinary teams, and ensure compliance with standards and regulatory requirements. English and Arabic proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, Control, or related Engineering discipline.
• PMP or equivalent project management certification.
• Experience in oil & gas sector projects within Saudi Arabia.
• Familiarity with local standards, codes, and HSE regulations.
• Master's degree in Engineering or Project Management.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering and execution of DCS projects from concept through commission and handover.
• Develop and review control system architecture specifications and design documents.
• Configure, program and troubleshoot Emerson DeltaV DCS modules.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including electrical instrumentation and process engineers.
• Manage project schedules budgets and resource allocation to ensure on-time delivery.
• Interface with clients, vendors and contractors to define requirements and resolve technical issues.
• Prepare technical reports, risk assessments and project documentation in compliance with company and regulatory standards.

• Demonstrated project management skills including planning, scheduling, and cost control
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• PMP or equivalent project management certification
