Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and talented (Process Equipment Technician) to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Installations, Troubleshoot and maintenance/overhauling of production area equipment, all mechanical, electrical, electromechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic devices of machines for smooth operation in shifts with problem solving of breakdowns.
- Execute routine and non-routine maintenance activities.
- Record all observations and work progress, abnormalities and spares utilization in the work order ERP documents and maintenance work instruction.
- Escalate issues to supervisors/Manager.
- Execution of all Plan maintenance activities with documentation as per Standard Operating Procedures and other implemented documentation.
- Regularly communicate the need of spares, additional works.
- Communicate effectively with all other departments (English/Arabic both).
- Fabricate parts/components in-house through available machinery at site.
- Consistently follow the work instructions written in SOPs/Work Orders and Standard works with Safety and Quality compliance.
- Escalate / Inform all abnormalities observed on floor especially in Production equipment to direct supervisors and Managers.
- Report near-miss, incidents (Quality & EHS) as per site system.
- Keep engineering tools in well-maintained and cleaned status used in GMP environment.
- Be aware of contamination and cross-contamination risks and care points.
- Generate ideas for machine performance improvement and provide feedback to Supervisor.
- Participate in assigned tasks for modification, upgrade of machines.
- Provide feedback to the Technical Supervisor about any required spare parts for Production Equipment.
Qualifications
- Associates degree in Mechanical, Electromechanical technology with minimum of 10 years' experience in a similar role in pharmaceutical manufacturing and packaging industry (preferable).
- Fully skilled and competent in mechanical, pneumatics, hydraulic devices, basic electrical including gears, gearboxes, bearings, different types of belts/conveyors, cutters, valves in pharmaceutical/food manufacturing and packaging equipment.
- Good awareness and proficiency in mechanical fabrication through use of lathe machines, grinders, polishers and tools.
- Good communication in Arabic and English and teamwork/collaboration skills.
- Be able to work in shifts.
- Capability of using ERP system for maintenance reporting, purchasing requisition in English.
- GMP and EHS knowledge.
