Job summary

TakeIn is a fast-growing Saudi Arabian food delivery startup in Dammam, building a cross‑functional product team. We seek a product manager to own end‑to‑end features for the POS app, restaurant onboarding, and admin dashboard, deeply collaborating with design, mobile and backend engineers, and operations.

You will write PRDs, validate with data, and drive initiatives from ideation to live product, delivering measurable outcomes weekly.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as a product manager or product owner in a startup or fast-moving team.
• B2C mobile product experience with real users.
• Experience with internal tools, dashboards, or ops products.
• Clear PRDs, deep research, and quick approvals.
• Comfortable with data: define metrics, pull numbers, adapt to findings.
• Arabic and English working level for Saudi market and global teams.
• Understanding of the Saudi market or prior Saudi projects.
• Active use of AI in workflow; measurable speedups and efficiency gains.
• Strong product discipline with willingness to learn from books/podcasts.

Responsibilities

• Learn the POS app and how the restaurant ecosystem works within the delivery platform.
• Own end-to-end product: write PRD, refine with devs, align stakeholders, ship, measure outcomes.
• Unblock operations, especially POS onboarding bottlenecks.
• Expand scope to admin dashboard and customer app over time.
• Speak with customers, restaurant owners, and ops teams in Saudi Arabia.
• Collaborate with design and engineering in a small, fast-moving team.
• Ship weekly and review results quickly to inform next steps.

About TakeIn

TakeIn is a food delivery platform on a mission to make food delivery fairer — for customers and for restaurants. We launched in January 2025 in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia and are live in production, processing real orders daily. We're hiring across product, engineering, and operations to scale what we've built.

The Opportunity

We're a newly launched, ambitious food delivery startup in Dammam, and we're looking for a product manager to join the product team.

The best part: you'll see the impact of your work every week. We're adding users every day and we watch our metrics closely. You'll get to work across every part of a B2C mobile product, in the age of AI.

Your Day-to-Day

• Learn the Point of Sale app properly in your first few weeks. Not a demo walkthrough; you'll need to know how a restaurant actually uses it before you change anything, and how the whole food delivery system fits together around it. You won't be alone: the team is here to support you.

• Own one product end to end: take the direction you're given, write the PRD, refine it with the dev team, get stakeholders aligned, and drive it until it's live. Then measure the outcome.

• Unblock the operations team. Most of what you pick up first is POS work that is actively slowing down restaurant onboarding.

• Grow into the admin dashboard and the customer app as your scope widens.

• Talk to the people who use what you build: customers, restaurant owners, and our own ops team in Saudi.

• Work directly with design and engineering. Small team, short lines, nothing to route around.

• Ship weekly and look at what happened. You'll see the result of your decisions in days, not quarters.
  

What You Bring

• At least 3 years as a product manager or product owner, most of it in a startup or a small, fast‑moving team. If your career has been one narrow slice of a large corporate product, this will not feel like the same job.

• B2C mobile product experience, shipped, with real users. This one isn't flexible.

• Experience with internal tools, dashboards, or ops products.

• You write clear PRDs, research them deeply, and get them approved without a month of meetings.

• Comfortable with data. Whatever tool you used, you can define the metric, pull the number, and change your mind when it tells you something you didn't expect.

• Arabic and English at a working level. Arabic for the Saudi market and our ops team, English for the product and engineering team.

• You understand the Saudi market, or you've built for it. You don't have to live there.

• You use AI in your actual workflow, not as a talking point. Be ready to say what got faster for you in the last two years, and how.

• You follow product seriously. The books, the podcasts, the people you learn from. We will ask.

Bonus

• Food delivery, q-commerce, or e-commerce experience.

• You've worked on a POS, restaurant tech, or a logistics product before.

• Figma, enough to work inside a file rather than only comment on it.

• Jira, Linear, Mixpanel, Metabase, or whatever you used instead.

• Marketing experience.

• You've launched something into Saudi or the wider GCC.

• A degree in computer science or engineering.

How We Work

• The products: customer app, POS, driver app, admin dashboard.

• The team: product, design, mobile, backend, and operations; all one Slack message away.

• Your manager: the product lead, who sets the direction and hands you well‑defined problems. This is an execution‑heavy role by design. You won't be staring at a blank page, and if that's what you're looking for, this isn't it.
