Job summary

MRG Global seeks an experienced Procurement Supervisor to lead procurement and strategic sourcing activities for a leading real estate organisation in Saudi Arabia. The role requires owning the procurement function, driving cost efficiencies, and strengthening supplier relationships with governance across the lifecycle.

The candidate will manage RFQ/RFP processes, negotiate terms, and collaborate with Legal on contracts while ensuring compliance with Saudi regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance or related discipline.
• 7+ years' procurement/supply chain experience, including ≥3 years in management.
• Experience managing RFQ/RFP, tendering and vendor selection.
• Track record of delivering cost reductions and strategic sourcing initiatives.
• Strong contract negotiation and vendor relationship management capabilities.
• Experience with procurement ERP platforms such as Yardi, SAP or equivalent systems.
• Knowledge of Saudi commercial law and procurement regulations.
• Fluency in English and Arabic.
• Experience in real estate, construction or property management advantageous.
• CIPS, CPM, APICS or similar qualification beneficial.

Job description

MRG is partnering with a leading real estate organisation in Saudi Arabia to appoint an experienced Procurement Supervisor to lead and enhance its procurement, strategic sourcing and vendor management activities.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially astute procurement professional to take ownership of the procurement function within a growing organisation. Reporting directly to senior executive leadership, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing procurement strategy, driving cost efficiencies, strengthening supplier relationships and ensuring robust governance across the full procurement lifecycle.

The Role

The Procurement Supervisor will oversee procurement strategy and operations, managing sourcing activities from initial market assessment and vendor qualification through RFQ/RFP processes, commercial negotiation, contracting and purchase order management.

Key Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing procurement and strategic sourcing initiatives aligned with organisational objectives.
• Identifying and evaluating suppliers based on quality, capability, cost and compliance.
• Managing complex RFQ and RFP processes, including evaluation criteria, vendor presentations, recommendations and business cases.
• Leading commercial and contractual negotiations and working closely with Legal on contract terms, compliance, SLAs and renewals.
• Managing preferred supplier relationships, framework agreements and vendor performance.
• Overseeing purchase requisitions, purchase orders, delivery follow-up and invoice matching.
• Analysing procurement spend and identifying opportunities for cost optimisation and measurable savings.
• Ensuring procurement activity complies with Delegation of Authority requirements, Saudi regulations and internal governance standards.
• Maintaining audit-ready procurement and contractual documentation.
• Leading and developing a Procurement Specialist while working closely with Finance, Legal, project and operational teams.

Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will ideally demonstrate:

• A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance or a related discipline.
• 7+ years' experience within procurement and supply chain management, including at least 3 years at management or senior level.
• Strong experience managing complex RFQ/RFP, tendering and vendor selection processes.
• A proven track record of delivering cost reductions and strategic sourcing initiatives.
• Excellent contract negotiation and vendor relationship management capabilities.
• Experience working with procurement/ERP platforms such as Yardi, SAP or equivalent systems.
• Knowledge of Saudi commercial law and procurement regulations.
• Fluency in English and Arabic, both written and verbal.
• Previous experience within real estate, construction or property management would be highly advantageous.
• CIPS, CPM, APICS or another recognised procurement/supply chain qualification would be beneficial.

Salary & Benefits

20 000 - 22 000 SAR plus package
