Job summary

Abunayyan Holding in Saudi Arabia seeks an experienced Process Manager to lead the process engineering function for water, wastewater, and industrial wastewater treatment projects. The role provides technical leadership across the full project lifecycle from concept through commissioning support and performance validation.

You will guide optimization, design reviews, and team development, specify equipment, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering is required.
• Minimum 15 years of process engineering and design experience in water, wastewater, and industrial wastewater treatment projects.
• Proven ability to lead process engineering teams.
• Hands-on with BioWin and RO projection tools.
• Experience with Aramco, NWC, EPC/EPCC projects in Saudi water and wastewater.

• Support design reviews, HAZOP/HAZID, commissioning, troubleshooting, and plant performance verification.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Process Manager to lead the process engineering function for water, wastewater, and industrial wastewater treatment projects.

The role will provide technical leadership across the full project lifecycle—from concept development and proposals through detailed engineering, commissioning support, and performance validation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead development of optimized water and wastewater treatment solutions.
• Lead and review process design, calculations, mass balances, hydraulic profiles, PFDs & P&IDs.
• Perform/review biological process simulations using BioWin and membrane/RO projection tools.
• Lead and develop Process Engineering teams.
• Select, size, and specify process equipment.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams.
• Support design reviews, HAZOP/HAZID, commissioning, troubleshooting, and plant performance verification.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering
• Minimum 15 years of experience in process engineering and design for water, wastewater, and industrial wastewater treatment projects
• Strong experience in a process leadership/management role
• Deep technical knowledge of RO, SWRO, UF, EDI, MBR, MBBR, SBR, activated sludge, industrial wastewater treatment, sludge treatment/dewatering, and related technologies
• Hands-on experience with BioWin and recognized RO projection tools
• Experience with Aramco, NWC, EPC/EPCC projects, and Saudi water & wastewater projects is highly relevant.
