Job summary

Aramex is seeking a Process Excellence Manager in Riyadh to drive continuous improvement across the organization. You will analyze processes, lead Kaizen and A3 projects, and develop tools to optimize performance.

You will coach teams, implement Lean/Six Sigma, monitor KPIs, and maintain process documentation while staying aligned with global best practices. Some travel within Saudi Arabia may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in process improvement, operational excellence, or related roles.
• Certifications in Lean, Six Sigma, or similar desirable.
• Experience in process improvement, project management, and quality assurance in dynamic operations.
• Logistics or transportation management experience preferred.
• Experience with MOST or time-and-motion studies is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office and BI platforms.
• Willingness to travel within Saudi Arabia on demand.

Responsibilities

• Lead identification, analysis, and redesign of business processes to optimize performance.
• Drive cost optimization projects aligned with local country management and Global PEX.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to execute projects including Kaizens and A3.
• Develop tools to map, analyze, and optimize processes.
• Conduct thorough quality audits and ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Perform root cause analysis on process challenges affecting daily operations.
• Implement Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies across departments.
• Provide coaching, mentoring, and training on process excellence.
• Monitor KPI-driven outcomes and report on changes.
• Maintain documentation for processes, standards, and best practices.
• Highlight key projects and Kaizens for replication across the network.
• Stay current with industry trends in process improvement.

Job Description

• Lead the identification, analysis, and redesign of business processes to optimize performance.
• Drive the implementation of cost optimization projects as per the agenda of the local country management and in alignment with the strategic direction of Global PEX
• Influence and collaborate with key cross functional stakeholders to drive the execution of projects within their areas including Kaizens and A3 projects
• Develop tools that support with the mapping, analysis, and optimization of business processes
• Conduct thorough quality audits to identify improvement opportunities and ensure adherence to rigorous quality standards.
• Perform route cause analysis and investigations on process challenges raised by local country management which are directly affecting daily operations and overall business
• Implement Lean, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies across departments
• Provide coaching, mentoring, and training to promote process excellence principles.
• Monitor and measure the effectiveness of process changes through defined KPIs and report on outcomes.
• Develop and maintain documentation for processes, standards, and best practices.
• Propose and highlight key projects and Kaizens that could be replicated across the network
• Stay current with industry trends and advancements in process improvement

Job Requirements - Experience and Education

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in process improvement, operational excellence, or related roles.
• Certifications in Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies are highly desirable.
• Demonstrated experience in process improvement, project management, and quality assurance within a dynamic operational environment
• Demonstrated experience in the logistics or transportation management industry is preferred
• Demonstrated experience with Manyard Operational Sequence Technique (MOST) & other time and motion studies is a plus
• Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment
• Good proficiency in MS Office and BI platforms
• Flexibility to travel within Saudi Arabia upon request
