Job summary

Thoughtworks is recruiting a Tech Principal anchored in Riyadh, KSA, to lead technical strategy and delivery on lighthouse projects within CXPD. You’ll own architecture, AI integration, and cross‑regional collaboration, guiding pods and engaging with clients on complex digital transformations.

You’ll report to the Director of Technology for CXPD and operate in a hybrid, travel‑heavy role across GCC markets, with a strong emphasis on high‑impact, AI‑driven product outcomes.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Python or TypeScript and shipping production code.
• Experience with AI/LLM ecosystems and evaluation patterns.
• Hands-on experience with major cloud platforms and DevOps practices.
• Proven ability to architect scalable AI-powered solutions in regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Shape the bet and run concept sprints with executives and designers.
• Win the work by shaping technical narratives and pricing parameters.
• Define prototyping direction, evaluate AI-powered components, and ensure safe guardrails.
• Lead architecture that ships in multi-month cycles and align streams across pods.
• Mentor engineers and share reusable practices across teams.
