Job summary

Thoughtworks Riyadh is seeking an experienced Lead Experience Designer to drive AI-powered products and experiences. You will own end-to-end design from concept to shipped product, collaborating with Product Managers, Data/AI specialists, and engineers to deliver high-quality outputs.

This role combines hands-on design, client advisory, and building local design capability. Expect hybrid work and a leadership position shaping Thoughtworks’ regional design practice in the Middle East.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years in product design with end-to-end ownership of shipped digital products.
• Experience leading design on large-scale programs and engaging senior stakeholders.
• Expertise in user research, journey mapping, wireframing, rapid prototyping, lean validation.
• Fluency in designing AI/data-driven products and using AI-enabled design tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design across engagement phases, from discovery to shipped product.
• Shape AI-native UX, trust, transparency, and responsible AI guardrails in flows.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate ideation while maintaining craft.
• Conduct lightweight research and champion accessibility and inclusive design.
• Build and govern design systems with engineering for consistency and velocity.
• Advise clients as a trusted design partner during engagements and pre-sales.
• Help build Thoughtworks' regional Experience Design capability and client relationships.
