Zahid Industries in Saudi Arabia is seeking a qualified forklift operator to support workshop activities, loading and unloading heavy equipment and materials as directed.

You will work in a safety-focused environment, adhering to QHSE rules, completing pre-use inspections and coordinating with supervisors for loads and routes to ensure efficient, safe material handling across workshop bays and loading points.

Competenze

• High school or technical qualification preferred.
• Valid forklift/heavy forklift operator certification required.
• Site induction, workshop traffic rules, PPE and QHSE orientation required before operating in the workshop.
• Refresher training required after incident/near miss, unsafe practice observation, equipment change or as defined by company/site requirements.

Mansioni

• Operate forklift safely inside the workshop to support CORE workshop work and customer equipment handling.
• Move, position, load and unload heavy equipment, skids, baskets, frames, tools and materials as instructed.
• Maintain safe material flow in workshop bays, storage areas and loading points while protecting people, assets and customer property.
• Complete daily pre-use inspection and do not operate if a defect or unsafe condition is identified.
• Confirm load weight, centre of gravity, rated capacity, route clearance and need for banksman before movement.
• Control speed, visibility, reversing, blind spots and movements in confined workshop areas.
• Report incidents, near misses, equipment defects or asset damage immediately.
• Keep forklift, attachments and work areas clean, serviceable and ready.
• Comply with company policies, QHSE, housekeeping and supervisor instructions.
