Job summary

Unilever in Saudi Arabia's Jeddah facility is seeking a dedicated machine operator to set up, operate and maintain packaging and production machinery in deodorant manufacturing. You will ensure output meets quality standards while following safety and maintenance procedures.

The role requires a diploma in mechanical, electrical or production with 3-6 years FMCG experience, and the ability to work in shifts, read blueprints, and use SCADA systems and hand tools.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or Production is required.
• 3-6 years in a similar FMCG role, preferably deodorant production.
• Proven machine operating experience in manufacturing facilities.
• Must be detail oriented and able to read and interpret production data.

Responsibilities

• Set up machinery for operation and start/adjust machinery to meet production targets.
• Perform quality control and maintain records of output and defects.
• Follow safety, health and quality regulations and report issues.
• Troubleshoot issues and perform routine maintenance on equipment.
• Read work orders and monitor production processes for efficiency.
• Operate and monitor SCADA systems and use hand tools as required.
• Lift equipment, stand for long periods and work shifts as scheduled.
