Job summary

Sisco Jobs is hiring for a Shift Charge Engineer in Saudi Arabia/Middle East. You will lead shift operations for steam and gas turbines, supervise control-room and field staff, and coordinate startup/shutdown, safety protocols, and maintenance handovers.

Ideal candidates have extensive power-plant operation experience with strong safety discipline and the ability to manage alarms and emergencies in a demanding environment.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Power, or related field.
• Postgraduate qualification or power-plant operations certification preferred.
• Experience in shift operations and safety protocols beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead and control shift operations of steam and gas turbines and conventional power plant.
• Monitor plant parameters and take corrective actions for safe, stable operation.
• Coordinate start-up, shutdown, synchronization, and load changes.
• Supervise field operators and control-room staff during shifts.
• Coordinate with maintenance for isolation, permits, troubleshooting, and restoration.
• Monitor desalination water treatment where applicable within plant operations.
• Respond to alarms, trips, and emergencies per operating procedures.
• Maintain shift logs, handover reports, and production data.
