Job description

Position - Pool & Repair Officer - Saudi's Only

Processing and following up the repair& refilling all unserviceable items which are owned by Flynas, and controlling movement of loaned (Pool & Home Base Kit) serviceable & unserviceable items.

Key Responsibilities

Functional

• Ensure proper and up to date records of Purchase/Order documentations.
• Assist Repair Officer to produce reports for management review.

Operational

• Assist on the efficiency and effective flow of unserviceable aircraft spares, tools and equipment through verification, coordination and handling between the Maintenance team, Logistics team, technical team, and other related parties involved in the unserviceable. This also include liaising and follow up with any vendors which providing services based on agreed terms or contract, and ensuring the services provided are within the agreed service level.
• Locate and collect all off-core (removal from aircrafts) parts from maintenance office, wheel area, and also for those return from any hangar activities including special projects.
• Prepare a list for all off-core parts and verify the accuracy of information compared to the physical unit. Escalate to appropriate parties on discrepancies.
• Coordinate and ensure that all transactions are recorded in the system.
• Coordinate with purchasing team to get the Exchange Order Number for Pool parts and coordinate with Pool & Repair Supervisor to get the Repair Order No. for the other Ratable/Repairable parts.
• Where required, request for quotations, evaluate and propose the most competitive cost/quotes, preparation of Requisition documents, Repair Order, Exchange Order, Exchange in Advance Order of all aircraft and commercial items required for repair, overhaul, re-certification, calibration, and test of engineering aircraft materials, tools and equipment.
• Coordinate and liaise with vendors and other related parties (internal and external) with regards to items sent for repair, overhaul, calibration and exchange. This includes liaising and follow up with related parties for shipment, clearance and deliveries of all incoming engineering aircraft items; sent/received, to/from the repair center/MRO.
• Assist and ensure completion of any tasks assigned by Superior/s.

Academic Qualifications and Professional Experience

Academic Qualifications - Bachelors in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Studies, Statistics, Finance or related.

Professional Experience - 2-5 Years of Experience as Pool & Repair Officer.
