Job summary

Jumeirah Jabal Omar is seeking a Plumber - Engineering to join the engineering team on site in Makkah. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on plumbing systems across guest rooms and public areas, ensuring leaks are fixed and systems run safely and efficiently.

The ideal candidate has 2-3 years in a similar luxury role, with strong trade skills, basic computer literacy, and knowledge of safety and building systems.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in the same role at a luxury 5-star property.
• Secondary education required; vocational certification preferred.
• Strong technical skills in trade and safety knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on plumbing systems.
• Inspect and repair leaks, clogs, and malfunctions in guest rooms and public areas.
• Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests related to plumbing.
• Maintain proper and safe condition of plant, plant rooms, equipment and work areas.
• Install, replace and maintain plumbing fixtures such as faucets, sinks, toilets, showers and valves.
• Maintain and service water filtration, softening and treatment systems.

About The Job

An opportunity has arisen for Plumber - Engineering to join Jumeirah Jabal Omar.

The main duties and responsibilities of this role:

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on all plumbing systems including water supply lines, drainage systems, pumps, water heaters, and sanitation fixtures.
• Inspect and repair leaks, clogs, and malfunctions in guest rooms, public areas, and service areas.
• Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests related to Plumbing issues.
• Maintain proper and safe condition of all Plant, Plant Rooms, Equipment and Work areas.
• Install, replace, and maintain plumbing fixtures such as faucets, sinks, toilets, showers, and valves.
• Maintain and service water filtration, softening, and treatment systems.

About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in the same role with a luxury 5-star property.
