Responsibilities

• Read and interpret piping isometric drawings, fabrication drawings and layouts.
• Measure, mark, cut, bevel and prepare pipes as per drawings.
• Fabricate and install carbon steel, stainless steel piping systems.
• Fit pipes, flanges, elbows, tees, reducers, valves and fittings.
• Perform pipe alignment, leveling, and positioning before welding.
• Prepare joints and ensure proper fit-up for welding.
• Fabricate and install pipe supports and related steel structures.
• Use measuring tools and workshop equipment safely.
• Inspect piping for dimensions, alignment and workmanship.
• Coordinate with welders, supervisors, engineers and site personnel.
• Follow project specs, safety and quality procedures.
• Maintain housekeeping and safe handling of tools and materials.
• Perform repairs, modifications and maintenance as required.
