Confidential Company is seeking a Piping Engineer with a strong focus on shop and site fabrication for Oil & Gas projects. The role emphasizes interpretation of isometrics, P&IDs and piping materials to drive compliant fabrication packages.

Ideal candidates bring 8–10 years of experience, Saudi Aramco project exposure, and a solid grasp of SAES and ASME codes, welding, and NDT. Collaboration with QA/QC, piping, and construction teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Thorough understanding of piping spool production workflows.
• Experience interpreting Isometric Drawings, P&IDs, GA drawings, and PMS.
• Knowledge of SAES, GI safety rules, and ASME B31.3/4/8 codes.
• Experience with welding processes and NDT techniques.

Responsibilities

• Review piping isometrics, PIDs, line lists, and structural plans to issue shop fabrication packages.
• Ensure fabrication procedures comply with SAES and ASME codes.
• Raise and resolve TQIs and RFIs related to piping design and materials.
• Develop weld maps and select WPS; track WPQRs for joints.
• Collaborate with Planning/S Scheduling to monitor shop output and spool release.
• Coordinate QA/QC inspections, verify PWHT and NDT scope.
• Maintain heat number traceability and MTCs for pipes and fittings.
• Prepare hydrotest packages and oversee coating requirements.
• Enforce Saudi Aramco safety instructions and work permits.
• Prepare weekly fabrication progress metrics and handover docs.
