Job summary

Thales in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, is seeking a Production Operator to support manufacturing operations. You will operate and monitor production equipment, ensure quality, and document output and downtime while adhering to safety and security guidelines.

The ideal candidate has a High School diploma and at least 3 years of experience in manufacturing, with proficiency in MS Excel/Office and a mindset geared towards lean manufacturing, teamwork, and reliability across rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor the perso machine for a consistent workflow.
• Quality control: inspect products and remove defective items.
• Documentation: record production data including output, rejections, downtime, and material usage.
• Follow safety, health, and security guidelines and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
• Perform tasks based on the production plan and priorities.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities (Key Accountabilities)

• Perso machine operation: Operate and monitor perso or mailing machine for consistent workflow.
• Quality Control: Inspect products for defects and extract faulty items from the line.
• Documentation: Records production data, including output, rejections, downtime, and material usage.
• Safety and Security Compliance: Adheres to safety, health, and security guidelines (e.g., wearing protective gear, maintaining a clean, orderly workspace).
• Follow up conducted production plan.
• Implement Priority matrix.
• Perform other tasks based on business requirements, ex. Manual Fulfillment.

Minimum Qualification

Education and Experience

• High School
• 3 years of experience as production operator.

Knowledge/ Skills

• Good Knowledge in MS Excel
• MS office (it’s an add)
• Maintenance knowledge (it’s an add)
• Experience in industrial/ operational / manufacturing industry.
• Lean Manufacturing Knowledge.
