Job summary

Linnk Group in Riyadh seeks a Payments Solution Architect to design scalable, secure payment integrations across banking and financial services, focusing on the Saudi networks.

You will lead end-to-end architectures for initiation through settlement, integrating with FIS IST/Cortex/Apex, Mada, SADAD, Visa, Mastercard, SWIFT, and NCR/ATM platforms, while ensuring PCI DSS and secure messaging standards. You will guide cross-functional teams and shaping the technology roadmap.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of architecture experience in banking/payments.
• Strong hands-on in payment processing and switching.
• FIS IST experience; Cortex/Apex preferred.
• Knowledge of Saudi Payments / Mada, SADAD, Visa, Mastercard, SWIFT.
• Experience with NCR/ATM architecture and transaction processing.
• REST/SOAP APIs, ISO 8583/20022, MQ/messaging, and middleware.
• Understanding of PCI DSS and secure integration.
• Arabic preferred; English mandatory.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Payments Solution Architect to design and oversee scalable, secure, and highly available payment solutions across banking and financial services environments. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in payment processing, switching, integration, APIs, card schemes, and the Saudi payment networks, along with a strong enterprise architecture mindset.

Key Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end payment architectures covering initiation, authorization, routing, clearing, settlement, reconciliation, and reporting.


• Lead integration architecture across FIS IST, FIS Cortex/Apex, Mada, Visa, Mastercard, SADAD, SWIFT, and NCR/ATM platforms.


• Define integration patterns, APIs, messaging, security controls, and data flows between payment systems and core banking applications.


• Collaborate with business, product, engineering, infrastructure, security, and external payment providers.


• Provide technical leadership for payment modernization, production issues, architecture reviews, and technology roadmaps.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in solution, enterprise, or technical architecture within banking/payments (mandatory).


• Strong hands-on experience in payment processing and switching architectures.


• Proven experience with FIS IST; FIS Cortex/Apex preferred.


• Strong knowledge of the Saudi Payments / Mada ecosystem, SADAD, Visa, Mastercard, and SWIFT.


• Experience with NCR/ATM architecture, ATM switching, and transaction processing.


• Strong knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs, ISO 8583, ISO 20022, MQ/messaging, and middleware.


• Strong understanding of PCI DSS, encryption, and secure integration.


• Arabic is preferred; English is mandatory.


• Saudi banking/payments experience is strongly preferred.


• TOGAF or AWS/Azure/GCP architecture certification is an advantage.
