Job summary

Nexttec Technology Outsourcing in Riyadh invites an experienced Oracle DBA/APPS DBA Consultant to manage and optimize client Oracle databases and E-Business Suite applications. The role covers performance tuning, backup/recovery, and high availability in complex environments.

You will collaborate with clients to understand needs, perform upgrades and patches, provide on-call support, and contribute to best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Oracle DBA/APPS DBA.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle database administration and performance tuning.
• Experience with Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and ASM.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS).
• Experience with backup and recovery strategies.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Oracle certifications (e.g. OCA, OCP) are a plus.

Position Overview:

As an Oracle DBA/APPS DBA Consultant, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our clients' Oracle databases and applications. You will work closely with our clients to understand their business needs and provide technical solutions to optimize their database performance. You will also be responsible for implementing and maintaining backup and recovery strategies, as well as monitoring and troubleshooting database issues. This is a full-time, permanent position with opportunities for growth and advancement within the company.
