Job summary

Salt Digital Recruitment in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, seeks an experienced Oracle APEX Developer to support enterprise applications using Oracle APEX and ORDS. Arabic language fluency is mandatory.

You will debug APEX issues, write high-quality PL/SQL, integrate REST/SOAP web services, optimize queries, and develop dashboards and reports. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, documentation, and readiness for 24/7 support are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, engineering, or related field.
• 5-8+ years of Oracle APEX experience (adjust based on seniority).
• Arabic read/write mandatory. Willing to work in 24x7 support.

Responsibilities

• Debug and troubleshoot Apex application issues across environments.
• Prepare technical documentation, release notes, and deployment guides.

Role Summary

Developer will be responsible for supporting enterprise applications using Oracle Application Express (APEX).

Key Responsibilities

• Debug and troubleshoot Apex application issues across environments.


• Prepare technical documentation, release notes, and deployment guides.


• Provide ongoing support for APEX applications.


• Integrate APEX applications with REST/SOAP web services, APIs, LDAP/SSO, and external data sources.


• Debug / Write efficient PL/SQL functions, procedures, packages, and triggers.


• Optimize SQL queries and PL/SQL code for high performance.


• Build automated scheduled jobs, notifications, and background processes using PL/SQL.


• Develop interactive custom reports, dashboards, forms, and workflows.


• Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, propose solutions, and deliver enhancements.

Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle APEX (versions 20.x/21.x/22.x or later).


• Expert-level PL/SQL programming.


• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery.


• Knowledge of Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS).


• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for APEX deployments (a plus).


• Familiarity with JSON/XML, REST APIs, and Web Services integration.

Database Skills

• Oracle Database concepts, performance tuning, indexing, data modeling.


• Understanding database security, roles, privileges, and auditing.

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.


• Excellent communication and documentation skills. Arabic read/ write is mandatory

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.


• 5-8+ years of experience in Oracle APEX (adjust based on seniority).


• Arabic read/ write is mandatory. Willing to work in 24*7 support .


• Oracle certifications (OCP, Oracle APEX Developer Certification) are an advantage.

Preferred (Nice-to-Have) Skills

• Experience with cloud platforms (OCI, AWS, Azure).


• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.


• Experience in migrating legacy Oracle Forms to APEX
