Operations Support Manager

Dammam, KSA

Reporting to Country Director

The Operations Support Manager oversees the policies and procedures of the government relations and contractor HR functions in the Saudi Arabia region.

Responsibilities

• Monitor government relations and contractor HR processes and drive process improvements within the region.
• Supervise the daily operations of government relations and contractor HR function within the region.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of the government relations and contractor HR function to ensure adherence to compliance standards and operational procedures.
• Ensure that all documentation and records are maintained accurately and up-to-date.
• Act as the main point of contact for communication between the government relations and contractor HR function and senior operational management in region.
• Closely interface with the Country Director, Regional Directors and other senior management, depending on nature of issue.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting professional development and team cohesion.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with QIWA, IKTVA, LGPCA and Nitiqat obligations.
• Nitiqat and Saudisation: Ensure full compliance with all Nitiqat and Saudisation obligations. Collaborate with Country Director and Regional Director to identify new, cost effective solutions relating to Saudisation.
• Coop Training: Ensure full compliance with coop training obligations. Collaborate with Country Director and Regional Director to identify suitable and cost effective solutions relating to coop training.

Competencies:

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline.
• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in human respources operations, employee relations and development of Saudi nationals.
• Experience in IKTVA and government relations.
• Comprehensive understanding of the government relations and HR function, management and coordination capabilities.
• Knowledge and experience in contractor HR functions.
• Excellent communication skills.
