Job summary

JBS Customer Service, a unit of Jaffer Business Systems (JBS), is seeking an IT Support Engineer in Riyadh. You will keep hardware, software, network access and business apps running with minimal disruption, supporting onboarding and offboarding for staff.

The role covers on-site desktop support, remote troubleshooting, and maintaining IT infrastructure, including AD/Azure AD, VPN and security practices. A 1–3 year background in corporate IT is ideal.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in an IT support, helpdesk or desktop support role.
• Experience supporting Microsoft 365 and Windows/macOS environments in a corporate setting.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and resolve IT support tickets (hardware, software, network, printers, peripherals) within agreed SLAs.
• Set up, configure and maintain desktops, laptops, and user accounts for new joiners and offboard leavers.
• Provide on-site and remote troubleshooting for end-user issues, escalating unresolved incidents to the relevant team or vendor.
• Maintain and monitor office IT infrastructure: LAN/Wi-Fi, printers, video-conferencing equipment and meeting-room AV.
• Administer user access across core systems (email, Active Directory/Azure AD, VPN, business applications).
• Support basic server, backup and antivirus/endpoint-security checks, flagging anomalies to senior IT staff.
• Maintain an accurate asset register and documentation for hardware, software licenses and configurations.
• Assist with IT-related onboarding/induction sessions and produce simple user guides for common issues.
• Support IT projects such as system rollouts and upgrades.
