Job summary

Facade Today in Jeddah seeks an experienced Site Engineer or Architect to provide full-time on-site supervision for a construction project. You will be our eyes on the ground, ensuring contractors work in strict accordance with approved drawings and specifications, and producing shop drawings when needed.

This role requires a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering or Architecture and 3–7 years of on-site supervision experience. Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential, with Revit a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
• 3–7 years of on-site supervision experience.
• Ability to read architectural, structural and MEP drawings.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor day-to-day construction activities and verify all work conforms to the architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and applicable codes.
• Review contractors' work quality, dimensions, materials, and installation methods; flag and document any deviations immediately.
• Develop, review, and issue shop drawings and construction details as needed to resolve site conditions or clarify design intent.
• Coordinate between the design team, contractors, and project management; respond to RFIs.
• Attend site meetings, prepare daily/weekly progress reports with photos.
• Inspect and approve work stages before they are covered up (e.g., reinforcement, MEP rough-ins, waterproofing).
• Maintain records of site instructions, variations, and as-built changes.
