Job summary

TXM Solutions is seeking a Cost Controller – Mechanical for onshore Saudi sites. You will monitor budgets, forecasts and expenditures, track manpower, materials and subcontractor costs, and prepare variance analyses to support project controls during shutdowns.

The role requires Mechanical Engineering qualification, strong Excel and reporting skills, and good English communication. Prior experience in oil and gas or refinery shutdown projects is preferred, with willingness to work at demanding

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Cost-control experience within oil and gas, petrochemical or refinery industry.
• Shutdown and turnaround experience preferred.
• Exposure to static-equipment maintenance projects.
• Experience with EPC, industrial maintenance or shutdown contractors.
• Saudi Arabia or GCC experience preferred.
• Strong Excel, reporting and analytical skills.
• Good English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor project budgets, forecasts and actual expenditure.
• Track manpower, materials, equipment and subcontractor costs.
• Prepare regular cost reports and variance analyses.
• Verify timesheets, invoices and equipment utilisation.
• Monitor scope changes, additional work and variation costs.
• Coordinate with Planning, Mechanical, Procurement, Finance and Project teams.
• Support project cost reconciliation and close-out reporting.
