Job summary

Saipem is seeking an Online Surveyor to join the Offshore Operations within Survey Scope. You will support survey activity, operate survey hardware, and ensure calibration and data integrity for onshore and offshore projects in Saudi Arabia.

The role requires a Master’s or Bachelor’s in hydrographic surveying, 2 years’ experience, and fluency in English. Some travel within KSA is expected; a permanent contract with corporate benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• Education: Master’s Degree/bachelor’s degree in HYDROGRAPHIC SURVEYING or similar.
• Background: 2 years’ experience in Online Surveyor within Geodesy/Geomatics.
• Languages: Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Technical Knowledge: Basic Knowledge to set up, level, and operate to measure angles, distances, and elevations accurately using Total station and Auto Level.
• Some travelling within KSA is expected.

Responsibilities

• Operate online survey software and hardware and ensure proper system configuration.
• Support installation and verification of survey and positioning systems.
• Perform quality control of positioning and data acquisition systems.
• Manage survey data acquisition, logging, backup, and reporting activities.
• Conduct calibration and validation of survey systems.
• Maintain accurate survey logs, operational records, and field reports.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, company procedures, and HSE requirements.
