Job summary

Alstom in Saudi Arabia is seeking a full-time Onboard Signaling Maintenance Technician in Nariyah to join a global rail leader. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on ETCS onboard signaling, troubleshoot faults, read schematics, and coach customer staff while ensuring safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or Communication Engineering.
• 2 to 3 years of work experience in Signaling Maintenance or Testing & Commissioning.
• Experience or understanding of the European Train Control System (ETCS) is a plus.
• Knowledge of rail signaling systems and their maintenance requirements.
• Familiarity with reading and interpreting technical documentation.
• A strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement preventive and corrective maintenance on onboard signaling systems.
• Troubleshoot faults and conduct fault finding.
• Coach, supervise, and assess the customer’s staff to grow their skills.
• Read and interpret technical schematics, drawings, and reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support continuous improvement initiatives.
