Job summary

Eram Talent is seeking an experienced Cost Engineer to support oil & gas projects in Jeddah. You will handle cost estimating, budgeting, and cost control across feasibility, FEED, and EPC phases, collaborating with engineering and procurement teams.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in upstream/downstream cost engineering, strong Excel and SAP/Primavera skills, and solid analytical, reporting, and communication abilities to drive project success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of cost engineering experience in upstream and/or downstream projects.
• Strong knowledge of estimating methods, cost control tools, and project management concepts.
• Proficiency in Excel and cost management software (e.g., SAP, Primavera, AACE practices).
• Strong analytical, communication, and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates for feasibility, FEED, and EPC phases.
• Develop and manage project cost budgets and forecasts.
• Monitor cost performance, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions.
• Support contract evaluations, bid analysis, and change management.
• Prepare cost reports, cash flow projections, and KPIs.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and planning teams.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal procedures.
