Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Ensure implementation of Project/Site Quality plans.
• Report Quality issues to the upper Quality referent.
• Liaise with workforce on Quality issues.
• Conduct internal Quality inspections and deliver training.
• Monitor Quality procedures for compliance.

Skills

Purpose of the position: As Offshore Quality Engineer you will be part of the HSEQ department within the Abser-Offshore business line. You will support the Quality team across assigned projects, ensuring compliance with the company, clients, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that Project/Site Quality plans and procedures are properly implemented on site during operations.
• Report to the upper Quality referent on any Quality issues occurred on site.
• Liaise continuously with the workforce and supervision on Quality issues.
• Conduct internal Quality inspections and deliver Quality induction and training, while keeping Quality procedures updated for specific tasks.
• Monitor Quality procedures implementation on operational sites, ensuring compliance with safety risk assessments and effective reporting of Quality performance indicators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant discipline (Engineering or equivalent)
• Minimum 0–3 years of relevant experience (fresh graduates under SITP are acceptable)
• Basic knowledge of Quality / HSE management systems
• ISO 9001 awareness (preferable)
• Familiarity with construction or oil & gas project environments is preferred
• Good communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage)
• Ability to work on onshore and/or offshore sites, as required by the project
• Computer literacy (MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
