Job summary

Saipem in Saudi Arabia seeks an Offshore Environmental Supervisor to support ABSER offshore construction projects, ensuring environmental compliance, EIA/ESIA commitments, and monitoring marine impacts. You will lead environmental studies, implement spill prevention plans, manage audits, and report KPIs to management and clients, with frequent offshore travel within the Kingdom.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in offshore environmental management, ISO 14001, MARPOL, and strong English and Arabic

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in Environmental field or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years in environmental management, offshore preferred.
• Experience with major clients like Saudi Aramco is a plus.
• Fluent in English and Arabic; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support EIA/ESIA requirements for offshore projects.
• Ensure permit conditions and environmental compliance during offshore work.
• Conduct environmental assessments for vessels, dredging, and transport.
• Develop mitigation measures and monitor environmental performance.
• Coordinate marine monitoring, waste management, and emissions reporting.
• Lead oil spill prevention and response planning and drills.
• Prepare environmental reports, KPI dashboards, and lessons learned.
• Support GHG and sustainability initiatives at project sites.
