About the job Network and Security Admin Engineer

We are looking for a Networkand Security Admin Engineer “SaudiNational”To be responsible for enablingdata to pass between computers in a network to aid communication between users.

Responsibilities :

• Establish thenetworking environment by designing system configuration, directing systeminstallation and defining, documenting and enforcing system standards
• Design and implementnew solutions and improve resilience of the current environment
• Maximise networkperformance by monitoring performance, troubleshooting network problems andoutages, scheduling upgrades and collaborating with network architects onnetwork optimisation
• Undertake datanetwork fault investigations in local and wide area environments usinginformation from multiple sources
• Secure networksystems by establishing and enforcing policies, and defining and monitoringaccess
• Support andadminister firewall environments in line with IT security policy
• Report networkoperational status by gathering and prioritising information and managingprojects
• Upgrade data networkequipment to the latest stable firmware releases
• Configure routing andswitching equipment, hosted IP voice services and firewalls
• Provide remotesupport to on-site engineers and end users/customers during installation
• Provide remotetroubleshooting and fault finding if issues occur upon initial installation
• Undertake capacitymanagement and audit of IP addressing and hosted devices within data centres
• Identify, analyze andsolve incidents / problems related to the network infrastructure andprovide 2nd level support to the IT Service Desk
• Fixing networkfaults.
• Contributes toDepartment objectives by ensuring that the company operates on securednetwork and providing business users with un-interrupted IT service.
• Undertakes additionalduties as and when required by Chief Information Technology Officer.
