Job description

We are looking for a Network Engineer whowill be responsible for maintaining and administering our company's computernetworks. Your primary duties will include maintenance of computer networks,hardware, software, and other related systems, performing disaster recoveryoperations, protecting data, software, and hardware from attacks, and replacingfaulty network hardware components when necessary. You will also be workingclosely with the users of our network in order to identify potential issues andfix existing problems.

To be a successful candidate, you will need tohave a strong understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware. Youwill also need to be able to implement, administer, and troubleshoot networkdevices including WAPs, firewalls, routers, switches, and controllers. A deepknowledge of application transport and network infrastructure protocols ishighly desired.

Responsibilities

• Designing andimplementing new network solutions and/or improving the efficiency of currentnetworks
• Installing,configuring and supporting network equipment including routers, proxy servers,switches, WAN accelerators, DNS and DHCP
• Procuringnetwork equipment and managing subcontractors involved with networkinstallation
• Configuringfirewalls, routing, and switching to maximize network efficiency and security
• Maximizingnetwork performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting
• Arrangingscheduled upgrades
• Investigatingfaults in the network
• Updatingnetwork equipment to the latest firmware releases
• Reportingnetwork status to key stakeholders

Qualifications

• Bachelordegree in information technology-related field of study with a networkengineering focus.
• Provenexperience in Network Engineering.
• Mustbe Saudi National
• Mustbe based in one of the following cities ( Riyadh \ Jeddah \ Alkhobar)
• Mustbe registered in the Saudi Council of Engineers
• Freshgraduate or out of work for more than three months
• Strongunderstanding of network infrastructure and network hardware.
• Abilityto think through problems and visualize solutions.
• Abilityto implement, administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices,including wireless access points, firewalls, routers, switches, controllers.
• Knowledgeof application transport and network infrastructure protocols.
• Abilityto create accurate network diagrams and documentation for design and planningnetwork communication systems.
• Providesspecific detailed information for hardware and software selection.
• Abilityto quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products using documentationand internet resources.
• Abilityto work with all levels of staff within and outside of IT and outside theorganization.
• Aself-starter able to work independently but comfortable working in a teamenvironment.
