Job summary

COGNNA in Riyadh invites a DevOps Engineer Intern to learn by doing, provisioning multi-cloud infrastructure, keeping Kubernetes healthy and supporting cloud security operations.

You’ll shadow senior engineers, draft ArgoCD manifests and integrate security scanners while building Terraform modules and CI/CD workflows. A strong foundation and eagerness to learn are essential for this hands-on growth role.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed degree in CS, SE, or cybersecurity.
• Basic understanding of cloud concepts (GCP, AWS or Alibaba Cloud).
• Comfort with Linux, Bash or Python scripting.
• Foundational knowledge of containers and Docker.
• Understanding of networking basics: subnets, DNS, HTTP/S, firewalls, VPN.
• Eagerness to learn GitOps, Kubernetes and Terraform.

Responsibilities

• Provision multi-cloud infrastructure and keep Kubernetes environments healthy.
• Configure GitOps pipelines and support cloud security operations.
• Monitor and optimize CI/CD with ArgoCD and GitHub Actions.
• Write modular Terraform code and help migrate infra to code.
• Assist security reviews and manage access controls with audit logging.
• Build dashboards and runbooks to reduce toil and improve reliability.
