Job summary

Tangent International is recruiting an experienced MPLS Engineer to join a leading telecommunications project in Saudi Arabia on a 12-month contract. You will work within a technical authority team responsible for supporting Ericsson transmission environments, ensuring network performance, operational stability and timely restoration of critical services.

Responsibilities include second-line technical support across the transmission domain, troubleshooting MPLS networks and related devices,

Qualifications

• MPLS, routers and L2/L3 switching proficiency.
• Experience with transmission networks.
• Knowledge of configuration management processes.
• Strong network troubleshooting skills.
• Experience in Ericsson environments.
• Ability to provide second-line technical support.
• Experience with MDT/TCN verification and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Provide second-line technical support across the transmission domain.
• Troubleshoot MPLS networks, routers, L2/L3 switches and transmission nodes.
• Support node acceptance and configuration management.
• Perform software maintenance and problem management activities.
• Handle outages, service degradation and customer requests.
• Perform MDT/TCN verification, reporting and audit activities.
• Coordinate with engineering, vendor and customer teams.
• Support operational compliance and service restoration.
