Job summary
XAD Technologies seeks an Ericsson Engineer (Telecom Engineer KSA) to lead installation, commissioning and integration of Ericsson BTS, NodeB, eNodeB, and 5G sites across Saudi Arabia. You will execute software upgrades, site surveys, audits, and ensure robust transmission connectivity.
Role requires 25 years of Ericsson experience, proficiency with Ericsson OSS/ENM and WCDMA/LTE/5G tools, strong troubleshooting, and willingness to travel within KSA.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Telecommunication/Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
- 25 years of experience with Ericsson equipment (RBS 6000, MINI-LINK MW, Radio Integration).
- Proficiency in Ericsson tools (OSS, ENM, WCDMA, LTE, 5G).
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Valid driving license and willingness to travel across KSA.
Responsibilities
- Perform installation, commissioning, and integration of Ericsson BTS, NodeB, eNodeB, and 5G sites.
- Conduct software upgrades, re-homing, and parameter tuning per optimization plans.
- Execute acceptance tests (PAT/SAT) with customer representatives.
- Perform site surveys and technical audits prior to installation.
- Ensure proper configuration and connectivity with transmission links (MW or fiber).
- Coordinate with NOC and project teams for issue resolution and performance monitoring.
- Prepare and submit daily progress reports, checklists, and as-built documentation.
- Follow company HSE and quality standards during site work.
