Job summary

Hexagon Autonomous Solutions is seeking a Project Engineer to lead technical mining projects from design to handover. You will plan, coordinate and execute deployments, manage resources and budgets, and ensure safety and quality standards across the full project lifecycle.

The role requires strong problem solving, communication and organisational skills, with on-site installation support and collaboration with sales for pre‑sales engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign degree equivalent in Engineering (Computer / Mining / Electrical /Electronic), Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3 years previous Mining Industry experience in similar roles or as software engineer/consultant/mining engineer or related title.
• Proficient in English; French/Portuguese an asset.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, SQLite, SQL Server; Linux; Linux shell scripting; Ubuntu.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and execute technical projects to deliver on time, within budget and quality standards.
• Develop project plans, manage resources and monitor progress.
• Mitigate risks and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
• Own system configurations and implement bespoke customizations.
• Onsite deployment support and collaboration with sales for pre-sales presentations.
