Job summary

Hexagon Mining is seeking a Senior MinePlan Engineer to ensure Mine planning software and systems operate effectively at customer sites, delivering tangible value to mining operations. The role emphasizes high-level technical support, troubleshooting, and optimization of mine planning solutions worldwide.

The successful candidate will collaborate with technical teams, adhere to support schedules, and contribute to software improvements while traveling to client sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in mine operations and/or blasting projects.
• Proficient with MineSight software.
• Experience in technical support and ticketing systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide masterful troubleshooting to deliver timely client solutions for MineSight worldwide.
• Adhere to support schedules to ensure timely client responses.
• Collaborate with technical teams to serve as primary contact for support and enhancements.
• Own and resolve customer issues or escalate as needed.
• Participate in on-call after-hours support.
• Create documentation and FAQ/self-service videos for customers.
• Provide feedback to product development and capture bug reports.
• Maintain case documentation and reporting standards.
