Job summary

Hexagon Autonomous Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Senior MinePlan Engineer to ensure Mine planning software and systems operate effectively at customer mine sites and deliver tangible value to our customers’ mining operations.

You will provide high-value technical support for MineSight software worldwide, troubleshoot complex issues, and optimize workflows to enhance safety, productivity, and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience working in or with mines is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in mining engineering or geology is preferred.
• Experience with MineSight software package is required.
• Experience in a technical support environment is required.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Python is required.
• Fluent English communication is essential.
• Experience managing ticket queues and reporting in ticket management systems.
• Travel locally, nationally and internationally to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert troubleshooting to deliver solutions for MineSight software worldwide.
• Adhere to schedules to support clients and avoid delays.
• Act as primary customer contact for support and enhancements.
• Own and resolve customer issues or escalate as needed.
• Participate in after‑hours on‑call support.
• Suggest process improvements to increase team efficiency.
• Provide documentation to Product Development and capture software issues and requests for enhancements.
• Maintain and adhere to case documentation and reporting standards.
