Job summary

Sisco Jobs is hiring on behalf of a client for a Merchant Acquiring Team Leader role in Bahrain. You will lead merchant acquiring product and sales initiatives to grow the portfolio and drive business growth.

You will define product vision, negotiate terms, and build partnerships with merchants and stakeholders. 4–7 years in Banking/Financial Services with payments exposure is preferred.

Qualifications

• Merchant acquiring: understanding of products, services, and business processes.
• Banking/Financial Services: mandatory professional experience in the domain.
• Product & Sales Management: manage acquiring-related product and sales initiatives.
• Strategic Partnerships: develop commercial partnerships and manage partner relationships.
• Contract Negotiation: negotiate commercial terms with merchants and partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead merchant acquiring product and sales initiatives to drive growth and expand the acquiring portfolio.
• Define and support the product vision and strategy for merchant acquiring solutions.
• Identify, develop, and secure strategic partnerships with merchants and partners.
• Negotiate commercial agreements and contracts with merchants, partners, and stakeholders.
• Develop and execute merchant sales initiatives in coordination with internal banking stakeholders.
• Build and maintain relationships with merchants, partners, and key decision-makers.
• Understand merchant requirements and provide acquiring solutions aligned with their needs.
• Monitor initiatives and collaborate cross-functionally to improve product adoption and sales performance.
