Job summary

BEC Arabia is seeking a skilled QA/QC - MEP Team Leader to manage quality across Khobar-based MEP projects. You will lead the QA/QC team, develop plans, monitor on-site activities, and coordinate with project teams to ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and exceptional results.

The role requires 8+ years in QA/QC with at least 3 years in leadership, SBC knowledge, and proficiency in AutoCAD and Primavera P6.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field
• 8+ years in QA/QC within construction, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
• Proven MEP QA/QC expertise across projects
• Familiarity with SBC and Saudi standards
• SCE registration mandatory for KSA roles
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Primavera P6 and MS Office
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 quality systems
• Excellent leadership and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Lead the QA/QC team for MEP works ensuring compliance with project specs and regulations
• Develop and implement QA plans, ITPs, and checklists for MEP systems
• Monitor on-site MEP installation per drawings and specs
• Coordinate with PMs, site engineers, and subcontractors to address quality issues
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify risks and preventive actions
• Ensure MEP materials and equipment meet project requirements and are approved
• Prepare and maintain QA/QC documentation including NCRs and reports
• Collaborate with safety teams to ensure health, safety and environmental standards
• Mentor and train junior QA/QC staff
• Liaise with clients, consultants and inspectors to resolve quality issues
• Stay updated on industry standards and best practices in MEP QA/QC
