Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking an experienced Design Manager - MEP to lead the mechanical, electrical and plumbing design across complex hospitality and leisure projects. You will manage multidisciplinary teams, coordinate with consultants and contractors, and ensure designs meet budgets, schedules, and global standards.

You will drive innovation, review technical submissions, and guide junior staff while maintaining adherence to quality management processes.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
10–15 years of MEP design/engineering experience, including design management.
Experience delivering large hospitality or leisure projects (hotels, resorts, venues).

Responsibilities

Lead development and delivery of MEP design packages from concept through detailed design.
Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams and external stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with local regulations, international standards, and client specs.
Review calculations, drawings, specifications, reports, and technical submissions.
Provide technical leadership and mentoring to engineers and designers.
