Job summary

Converge seeks a Regional Chief Financial Officer based in Jeddah to lead the regional finance function, partner with senior leadership to drive financial performance, strategic growth, and long-term value creation across multiple markets.

You will oversee accounting, controlling, treasury, budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management, while developing and executing financial strategy to support investments, expansion, and major business decisions.

Qualifications

• 20+ years of progressive finance experience with regional leadership exposure.
• Proven track record in financial strategy, planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, financial controls, and governance.

What This Role Is About

Our client, a large regional conglomerate, is looking for a Regional Chief Financial Officer, based in Jeddah, to lead the regional finance function and partner with senior leadership to drive financial performance, strategic growth, and long-term value creation.

The role will oversee the regional finance agenda across multiple markets and business units, providing strategic direction across financial planning, performance management, governance, and risk.

You will lead the development and execution of financial strategy while overseeing core finance functions including accounting, controlling, treasury, budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management. The role will also provide senior leadership with financial insights to support investment, expansion, and broader business decisions.

As a senior member of the leadership team, you will also be responsible for developing regional finance capabilities, strengthening processes and controls, and ensuring a high standard of financial governance across the organisation.

• Arabic speakers are highly preferred.
• 20+ years of progressive finance experience, including significant regional and leadership exposure.
• Proven experience leading finance functions across multiple countries or markets within a complex organisation
• Strong track record in financial strategy, planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management
• Extensive experience overseeing accounting, controlling, treasury, cash management, and financial governance
• Strong understanding of P&L management, working capital, cost optimisation, and financial risk management
• Proven ability to act as a strategic finance partner to executive leadership and support major business and investment decisions
• Experience leading, developing, and building high-performing regional finance teams
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, financial controls, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance
• Proficiency in ERP systems and financial reporting tools
