Job summary

Novartis Saudi Arabia is seeking a Medical Manager to support design, implementation, and execution of Medical Affairs plans for the assigned therapy area. You will provide scientific information, help design and organize clinical studies, and engage medical experts and regulatory stakeholders.

Responsibilities include responding to medical enquiries, contributing to evidence-generation activities, and reviewing medical and promotional materials for compliance.

Qualifications

• MD/PharmD/PhD required.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in Medical Affairs in pharma; Neuroscience experience is a plus.
• Proven ability to build credible relationships with medical experts and key decision-makers.
• Strong understanding of clinical research, evidence generation, and evolving therapeutic landscape.
• Experience translating scientific insights into cross-functional actions.
• Fluency in Arabic and English; excellent communication and collaboration in a matrix environment.

Responsibilities

• Respond to medical enquiries accurately, compliantly, and promptly; develop standard responses as needed.
• Provide medical and scientific input into clinical trials and research activities.
• Support local evidence-generation activities including non-interventional studies and investigator-initiated trials.
• Build scientific partnerships across the disease journey by engaging medical experts, supporting publications, and data generation.
• Review and approve medical and promotional materials per compliance requirements.
• Share actionable medical insights with cross-functional stakeholders across Pharmacovigilance, Regulatory, Market Access, Quality, and Commercial teams.
• Role involves 50% external stakeholder engagement and 50% office-based responsibilities.
