Job summary

AbbVie seeks a Medical Affairs professional to serve as the scientific voice for assigned products and therapeutic areas in a hybrid Riyadh-based role. You will provide expert medical guidance, support medical strategy, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align with local business plans.

You will develop educational programs, engage with External Experts, and contribute to clinical research activities while ensuring compliant medical content and high scientific integrity.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a relevant scientific field preferred.
• Solid knowledge of the pharmaceutical environment and Medical Affairs role.
• Minimum 2 years of Medical Affairs experience.
• Experience with real-world evidence, registries, and study design.
• Excellent written and spoken English mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical/scientific expert advice for assigned products and therapeutic areas.
• Develop knowledge through internal meetings, congresses, and literature.
• Support cross-functional affiliate teams and medical education programs.
• Establish relationships with External Experts and academic centers.
• Deliver scientific presentations and training to healthcare professionals.
• Oversee clinical research activities and protocol reviews.
• Ensure compliant, accurate medical content for promotional materials.
