Job summary

AbbVie Inc. is seeking Medical Science Liaisons in Saudi Arabia to engage with healthcare professionals and external experts in a strictly scientific, non-promotional manner.

You will communicate scientific information about AbbVie products and disease states, support clinical studies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance medical objectives while maintaining compliance with all laws and guidelines.

Qualifications

• Saudi nationality is a must.
• 1–2 years or more in Medical Affairs; Immunology & Dermatology preferred.
• Advanced degree preferred, but candidates with an undergraduate degree and demonstrated experience will be considered.
• Excellent written and spoken English is mandatory.
• Ability to travel regularly (approximately 50%).

Responsibilities

• Represent AbbVie Medical Affairs as subject matter expert in the assigned Therapy Area (TA) and territory.
• Serve as a point of contact within Medical Affairs to satisfy external experts' scientific needs.
• Develop and execute scientific interaction plans and contribute to cross-functional planning.
• Facilitate research and educational initiatives with strong medical presence in key centers.
• Support internal teams to develop scientific expertise through updates and presentations.
• Collaborate across in-field colleagues while maintaining independence.
• Assist in initiating and overseeing studies and medical projects within the TA.
• Support investigator-initiated studies and provide scientific support to teams as needed.
• Deliver credible scientific presentations to physicians and other HCPs; attend scientific meetings and conferences.
• Prepare summaries of key data to inform AbbVie priorities.
• Provide support for publications of scientific or medical interest.
• Ensure all activities comply with laws, guidelines, and AbbVie policies.
