Job summary

AbbVie in Jeddah is seeking a Medical Science Liaison to engage with external experts and healthcare professionals in immunology and dermatology. This field-based role focuses on scientific exchange, non-promotional information, and collaboration with AbbVie's Medical Affairs team to support clinical studies and medical projects.

The MSL will deliver scientific updates, facilitate communications, and ensure compliance with local regulations.

Qualifications

Advanced degree in a relevant scientific discipline preferred.
Undergraduate degree acceptable with demonstrated experience.
Solid knowledge of the pharmaceutical environment and Medical Affairs role.
Experience in scientific methods and clinical research controls.
Excellent written and spoken English is mandatory.
Strong communication and presentation skills to engage with external experts.
Willingness to travel up to ~50%.

Responsibilities

Represent AbbVie's Medical Affairs as a subject matter expert with external experts/HCPs.
Develop and execute scientific interaction plans and account plans.
Support internal teams with scientific updates and education.
Facilitate investigator-initiated studies and other medical projects.
Deliver credible scientific presentations to physicians and HCPs.
Participate in meetings and conferences to summarize key data.
Ensure compliant activities in line with laws and AbbVie policies.
