Job summary

Acwa China Rabigh, Saudi Arabia, seeks a Section Head - Mechanical to lead preventive and corrective maintenance for plant mechanical systems, manage outages, and ensure safe, reliable operations.

Bachelor's in mechanical engineering, 10+ years in industrial or power plants, and SAP/CMMS experience are required. You will mentor teams, supervise work orders, and drive compliance with IMS, HSE, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
• 10+ years of relevant maintenance experience in industrial or power plant environments.
• Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance, plant shutdowns, and outage management.
• Strong experience using SAP/CMMS systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise preventive, corrective, shutdown, and overhaul maintenance activities for plant mechanical equipment.
• Prepare purchase requisitions for spare parts and consumables within budget requirements.
• Lead troubleshooting activities and support the maintenance team in resolving mechanical and operational issues.
• Execute and monitor work orders through CMMS (SAP) and coordinate with maintenance engineers on technical matters.
• Apply mechanical maintenance techniques to maintain equipment and systems.
• Perform routine inspections, maintenance, repair, lubrication, and cleaning of mechanical and hydraulic systems.
• Ensure IMS, HSE policies, and legal requirements are followed.
