Job summary

Techline International is seeking an experienced QC Mechanical / Vendor Inspector (QM-07) to conduct independent vendor surveillance and shop inspections across the region, focusing on valves, pressure vessels and piping components, strictly following SAMSS and API/ASME codes.

The role requires a Mechanical Engineering background with 5+ years of TPI/QC experience, and certifications such as CSWIP 3.1/3.2, AWS CWI, or ASNT Level II. Strong English communication is essential in this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (5+ years TPI/QC experience) or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (5-6 years experience).
• CSWIP 3.1/3.2 or AWS CWI Certified Welding Inspector.
• ASNT Level II in VT, PT, MT, and RTFI (UT is an advantage).
• API Certifications (API 510, API 570, API 598/6D awareness) are strongly advantageous.
• In-depth knowledge of SAES/SAMSS/SA-175, API 6D, API 598, ASME B16.34, ASME Section VIII, and ASME B31.3.

Responsibilities

• Conduct independent vendor surveillance and shop inspections for valves, pressure vessels and piping components.
• Witness hydrostatic, pneumatic, shell, seat, backseat and operational cycle tests per API/ASME standards.
• Review MTC, PMI results, WPS/PQR/WQR, MDRs and IRC documentation; ensure traceability.
• Issue NCRs and Deficiency Notices, tracking corrective actions to verified resolution.
• Coordinate Pre-Inspection Meetings with clients, EPC contractors and manufacturers to finalize the ITP.

In this role, you will be responsible for conducting independent vendor surveillance, shop inspections, and testing of static mechanical commodities—with a major focus on valves, pressure vessels, and piping components—strictly following Saudi Aramco standards (SAMSS), SA-175 forms, and applicable international engineering codes.

SkillsAramco Approvals:

Valid Saudi Aramco Approval / CBT Passed for QM-07 (Valves); additional QMs (QM-03, QM-05, QM-11,QM-12,QM-30, QM-35, QM-36, QM-37) are highly preferred.

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (5+ years TPI/QC experience) or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (5-6 years experience).

Certifications:

CSWIP 3.1 / 3.2 or AWS CWI Certified Welding Inspector.
