Job summary

Eram Talent in Jeddah seeks an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor to lead preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance of gas plants and pipeline systems. You will manage mechanical technicians, ensure safety, and coordinate with operations to plan shutdowns and equipment isolation.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 5–8 years hands-on experience in gas plant maintenance, static and rotary equipment, and familiarity with SAP PM.

Qualifications

• Diploma in mechanical engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
• 5–8 years of hands-on experience in maintenance of gas plants and pipeline systems.
• Experience maintaining mechanical equipment including static and rotary components; SAP PM knowledge is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Supervise preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance for mechanical equipment in gas plants and pipelines.
• Lead and manage mechanical technicians and fitters, ensuring safe and efficient work.
• Ensure compliance with HSE policies, permit-to-work systems, and safety procedures.
• Coordinate with operations to plan maintenance activities, shutdowns, and equipment isolation.
• Assign daily tasks, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion of maintenance jobs.
• Troubleshoot and support root cause analysis (RCA) for equipment failures.
• Verify job quality, conduct inspections, and handover readiness to operations.
• Ensure proper use of tools, spare parts, and materials; support inventory control.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
• 5–8 years of hands-on experience in maintenance of gas plants and pipeline systems.
• Strong expertise in maintenance of mechanical equipment, including:
  • Static equipment (pressure vessels, heat exchangers, piping, valves)
  • Rotary equipment (pumps, compressors, turbines, blowers)
• Experience using SAP PM for maintenance work orders, notifications, and history tracking is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and execute preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance activities for mechanical equipment in gas plants and pipelines.
• Lead and manage mechanical technicians and fitters, ensuring work is performed safely and efficiently.
