Zusammenfassung

Lucid Motors is seeking a Mechanical Engineer specializing in E-Motor/Dyno to define assembly requirements and lead root-cause analysis for production issues. You will collaborate with core engineering to ensure design intent and validation requirements are met.

You’ll own RCA for EOL DU failures, develop corrective actions, and drive test specifications from dyno data to production readiness, enabling high-volume ramp and successful product launches.

Qualifikationen

• BS or MS in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering with 5+ years in design and release of vehicle attributes.
• Experience solving complex product problems using industry-standard techniques.
• Experience with test automation tools (Python, MATLAB, AVL PUMA, REPS).
• Strong data analysis skills (Minitab or JMP, Python, MATLAB).
• Engineering-in-Training or related certification is a plus.
• Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification is desirable.

Aufgaben

• Collaborate with Manufacturing and DU test teams to resolve pending issues and test specs.
• Lead root cause analysis for E-Motor assemblies and Dyno results.
• Develop and verify RCAs and corrective actions for production issues.
• Translate design intent into production EOL Dyno test specifications.
• Partner with test & validation to correlate dyno data with engineering data.
• Improve screening methodologies from field learnings and validation.
• Equip engineers with know-how to triage Dyno failures and sustain operations.
• Support new product launches and part concessions for E-Motor and Inverter assemblies.
• Contribute to high-volume production ramp activities and process improvements.
