Job summary

Hitachi Energy seeks an Hub Controller, Service MEA, to act as trusted partner to the Hub Manager and lead Finance and Controlling across Middle East and Africa. You will drive performance, influence strategic decisions, and shape growth for the Service business while guiding a regional team across several countries.

You will partner with senior leadership, manage planning and budgeting, and ensure governance and risk controls.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, business administration, or related field.
Strong finance and controlling experience in multinational environments.
Proven leadership experience managing regional or geographically dispersed teams.
Strong business acumen and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
Experience in the energy, industrial, engineering, or related sectors.
Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

Partner with the Hub Manager to drive strategic and operational decisions.
Lead business planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management.
Drive profitable growth, productivity improvements, and capital efficiency.
Provide financial insights that support business priorities and investments.
Lead and develop a regional Finance and Controlling team across multiple countries.
Influence senior stakeholders and foster a high-performance culture.
Drive governance, risk management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.
